Nicky Bloye-Cook “We know the whole Elglaze family”!
This year, Nicky and her wife Julie decided it was time to move on to a new home. One which they could renovate and truly make their own, with Nicky focusing on the interior and Julie on the garden. In April 2024, they received the keys to their new home and began moving in with many home renovation ideas in mind.
After moving in, it was clear that some jobs were more urgent than others. The main issue was a leaky old polycarbonate roofed conservatory that would drench the dining room table, as well as outdated windows and a front door that wasn’t quite their style. Being determined to use and support local companies, both Nicky and her wife did some research and came across Elglaze.
Soon after this, the work was booked in, and Elglaze began installing the windows and front door around early June, with the conservatory installation closely following.
The old conservatory roof was completely replaced with Equinox tiled roofing, not only fixing the leak but also creating a light and airy room which now forms the dining room and sitting area that looks out onto their lovely garden.
